dc.description.abstractLengkeng (Dimocarpus longan L.) merupakan salah satu buah yang banyak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Akan tetapi, produksi lengkeng dalam negeri masih rendah karena sulitnya pembungaan lengkeng secara alami. Penelitian ini bertujuan menetapkan dosis optimal KClO3 untuk meningkatkan pembungaan pada lengkeng. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Sukamantri IPB pada bulan Januari hingga Mei 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) faktor tunggal, yaitu dosis KClO3. Terdapat empat taraf perlakuan, yaitu 0 g m-², 2 g m-², 4 g m-², dan 6 g m-². Data dianalisis dengan analisis ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji lanjut DMRT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan berbagai dosis KClO3 berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap waktu berbunga, panjang malai, dan rata-rata jumlah buah per pohon, serta berpengaruh nyata terhadap persentase berbunga, jumlah malai, jumlah anak malai, jumlah bunga mekar per pohon, persentase fruit set, dan persentase buah gugur. Perlakuan dosis 4 g m-2 memberikan hasil terbaik dalam peningkatan pembungaan lengkeng.-
dc.description.abstractLongan (Dimocarpus longan L.) is one of the fruits that is widely consumed by Indonesian people. However, domestic longan production is still low due to the difficulty of natural longan flowering. This study aims to determine the optimal dose of KClO3 to increase flowering in longan. The research was conducted at the Sukamantri Experimental Farm of IPB from January to May 2024. This study used a single factor Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), namely the dose of KClO3. There were four treatments: 0 g m-2 , 2 g m-2 , 4 g m-2 , and 6 g m-2 . Data were analyzed by analysis of variance and followed by DMRT further test. The results showed that the treatment of various doses of KClO3 had a very significant effect on flowering time, panicle length, and average number of fruits per tree, and significantly affected the percentage of flowering, number of panicles, number of secondary panicles, number of blossoms per tree, percentage of fruitset, and percentage of fruit drop. The dose treatment of 4 g m-2 gives the best results in increasing longan flowering.-
