Abstract: Hutan mangrove sebagai penyimpan karbon dapat berperan sebagai mitigasi emisi karbon. Kawasan mangrove di Pulau Menjangan dan Teluk Terima termasuk kedalam salah satu objek konservasi dilindungi yang berada di Taman Nasional Bali Barat (TNBB). Penelitian ini bertujuan, menganalisis perubahan luas mangrove berdasarkan kerapatan, pemetaan biomassa aktual, estimasi total cadangan karbon, dan hubungan variabel tersebut pada kawasan Pulau Menjangan dan Teluk Terima menggunakan Citra Sentinel-2 (2019 dan 2023). Data klasifikasi citra dan ekstraksi Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) dibagi menjadi tiga kelas kerapatan sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Kehutanan RI (2012). Nilai biomassa aktual melalui perhitungan alometrik spesies spesifik dimodelkan dan menghasilkan persamaan y = -419.54 + 2281x dengan R² =79.81 %. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan cadangan karbon di Pulau Menjangan dan Teluk Terima tahun 2019 sebesar 2.365 x 10³ tonC, dan mengalami penurunan pada tahun 2023 menjadi 2.168 x 10³ tonC. Penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif antara perubahan luas mangrove, total cadangan karbon, dan sekuestrasi karbon. Mangrove forests as carbon storage, play a role in mitigating carbon emissions. The mangrove areas in Menjangan Island and Teluk Terima are part of the protected conservation objects within the West Bali National Park. This study aims to analyze changes in mangrove extent based on density, map actual biomass, estimate total carbon stock, and examine the relationships among these variables in Menjangan Island and Teluk Terima using Sentinel-2 imagery (2019 and 2023). The classification data and extraction of the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) were divided into three density classes according to the Indonesian Ministry of Forestry Regulation (2012). Actual biomass values were obtained through species-specific allometric calculations and modeled, resulting in the equation y = -419.54 + 2281x with R² = 79.81%. The study results show that carbon stock in Menjangan Island and Teluk Terima was 2.365 x 10³ tonC in 2019, which decreased to 2.168 x 10³ tonC in 2023. This research indicates a positive relationship between changes in mangrove extent, total carbon stock, and carbon sequestration.
