Abstract: ROBY WANDA MAULIDIN. Pemberdayaan Petani Dalam Implementasi Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) Kakao Melalui Program Bertani Untuk Negeri di Desa Bulili.
ROBY WANDA MAULIDIN. Farmer Empowerment in Cocoa Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) Implementation through the Bertani Untuk Negeri Program in Bulili Village. Supervised by MUHAMMAD IQBAL NURULHAQ and LEONARD DHARMAWAN. Bulili Village with a majority of the population relies on cocoa farming as a source of income. However, cocoa productivity is declining due to lack of maintenance and old farms (25-30 years old), which should have been rejuvenated. Only a few farmers are replanting, so many have switched to other commodities, indicating low implementation of cocoa GAP. To improve GAP implementation, there needs to be assistance for farmers, such as through the Bertani Untuk Negeri (BUN) program. This study aims to identify cocoa cultivation problems, observe programme implementation, and evaluate the level of GAP implementation by farmers. Using a qualitative approach and quantitative data, the research employed field observations, FGDs, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and literature studies. The results show that empowerment programmes that focus on farmers' problems can improve cocoa GAP implementation in Bulili Village.
