| Abstract: | PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur dengan hasil produksi peralatan audio. Perusahaan menghadapi permasalahan kualitas yaitu masih ditemukannya cacat pada produk pendant speaker. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat cacat dan nilai sigma produk pendant speaker, faktor-faktor penyebab terjadinya cacat, dan memberikan usulan perbaikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas produk. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode Six Sigma dengan tahapan DMAI (Define, Measure, Analyze, dan Improve) dengan alat analisis antara lain diagram SIPOC (Supplier, Inputs, Processes, Outputs, Customers), pareto chart, control chart, fishbone diagram, dan usulan perbaikan 5W+1H. Nilai sigma untuk jenis kerusakan diperoleh sebesar 4,8 untuk speaker, 4,0 untuk label, 4,2 untuk cabinet cover, dan 4,7 untuk packaging. Hasil nilai sigma menunjukkan perusahaan berada di rata-rata industri USA. Faktor penyebab produk cacat berasal dari faktor material, manusia, mesin, dan metode. Usulan perbaikan yang diberikan antara lain peningkatan Quality Control saat barang masuk, pelatihan teknik pengecatan dan solder untuk pekerja, melakukan perawatan mesin secara berkala, dan memastikan metode kerja sesuai dengan Prosedur Operasional Baku. PT XYZ is a manufacturing company that produces audio equipment. The company faces quality problems, namely the defects found in pendant speaker products. This study aims to determine the defect rate and sigma value of pendant speaker products, the factors that cause defects, and provide suggestions to improve the quality of product. The method used is the Six Sigma method with the stages of DMAI (Define, Measure, Analyze, and Improve) with analytical tools including SIPOC (Supplier, Inputs, Processes, Outputs, Customers) diagrams, pareto charts, control charts, fishbone diagrams, and 5W+1H suggested improvements. The sigma value for the type of damage were 4,8 for speakers, 4,0 for labels, 4,2 for cabinet covers, and 4,7 for packaging. The sigma values indicate that the company is positioned at the industry average in the USA. The causal factors for product defects come from material, human, machine, and method factors. Proposed improvements include improving inspection during incoming QC, training on painting and soldering techniques for workers, conducting regular machine maintenance, and ensuring work methods are in accordance with Standard Operational Procedures. |
