dc.description.abstractKendala utama dalam pengadaan larva ikan laut adalah sulitnya menyediakan pakan alami berkualitas, terutama fitoplankton dan zooplankton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan dosis multivitamin yang tepat untuk digunakan pada kultur rotifera. Metode yang diterapkan adalah eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan dan tiga kali pengulangan. Perlakuan dosis multivitamin yang digunakan yaitu perlakuan Kontrol, perlakuan A (1 mg/L), dan perlakuan B (2 mg/L). Parameter yang diukur meliputi kepadatan populasi rotifera, pertumbuhan sel, dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan B dengan dosis (2 mg/L) menghasilkan kepadatan rotifera tertinggi 47,67±1,29 ind/mL dan pertumbuhan sel terbaik 8,62±0,79 ind/hari, sedangkan perlakuan kontrol menghasilkan kepadatan terendah 32,62±1,1 ind/mL dan pertumbuhan sel yang lebih rendah 4,43±0,29 ind/hari. Kualitas air optimal juga ditemukan pada perlakuan B, dengan salinitas 28–29 g/mL, suhu 28–32ºC, pH 7,3–8,3, dan oksigen terlarut 4–6 mg/L. Hasil analisis statistik yang didapatkan menunjukan adanya perbedaan signifikasi antara semua perlakuan yang diuji.-
dc.description.abstractThe main obstacle in the procurement of marine fish larvae is the difficulty of providing quality natural food, especially phytoplankton and zooplankton. This study aims to determine the appropriate dose of multivitamins to be used in rotifer culture. The method applied was an experiment with a completely randomized design (CRD) with three treatments and three repetitions. The multivitamin dose treatments used were control treatment, treatment A (1 mg/L), and treatment B (2 mg/L). Parameters measured included rotifer population density, cell growth, and water quality. The results showed that treatment B with a dose of (2 mg/L) produced the highest rotifer density of 47,67±1,29 ind/mL and the best cell growth of 8,62±0,79 ind/day, while the control treatment produced the lowest density of 32,62±1,1 ind/L and lower cell growth of 4,43±0,29 ind/day. Optimal water quality was also found in treatment B, with salinity 28–29 g/L, temperature 28–32ºC, pH 7,3–8,3, and dissolved oxygen 4–6 mg/L. The statistical analysis results obtained showed a significant difference between all treatments tested.-
