dc.description.abstractProbiotik merupakan mikroorganisme hidup yang dapat memberi pengaruh yang menguntungkan bagi kesehatan inang dan dapat meningkatkan keseimbangan mikroorganisme dalam saluran pencernaan, efisiensi pakan, dan kualitas lingkungan. Probiotik yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini yaitu probiotik EM4. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah mendapatkan dosis probiotik yang terbaik untuk performa laju pertumbuhan. Pemberian probiotik menggunakan 3 dosis yang berbeda yaitu sebanyak 5 mL kg-1 pakan, 10 mL kg-1 pakan dan 20 mL kg-1 pakan. Pemberian probiotik yang memberikan hasil terbaik bagi pertumbuhan ikan lele yaitu pada perlakuan P3 dengan dosis 20 mL kg-1 pakan nilai pertumbuhan panjang mutlak 11,27 cm, pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 9,02 g, dan nilai FCR 0,8. Sedangkan pada laju pertumbuhan spesifik (LPS) dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup (TKH) hasil terbaik yaitu pada perlakuan P2 dengan dosis 10 mL kg-1 pakan yang menghasilkan nilai SGR sebesar 8,11% hari-1 dan SR yang dihasilkan yaitu 82%. Analisis usaha menghasilkan keuntungan terbesar yaitu pada perlakuan P2 sebesar Rp78.188.657 tahun-1. probiotik EM4 mempengaruhi performa laju pertumbuhan benih ikan lele mutiara serta dosis efektif yang dapat diaplikasikan adalah 10 mL kg-1.-
dc.description.abstractProbiotics are living microorganisms in which given proper amount could give positive impacts to the host health and could improve microorganisms balance in digestive tract, feed efficiency and environment quality. Probiotic which used in this activity is EM4 probiotic. The objective of this activity is applying probiotics to acquire the best probiotic dosage for improving growth of pearl catfish. Application of probiotics used 3 different dosages i.e., 5 mL kg-1 of feeds, 10 mL kg-1 of feeds, and 20 mL kg-1 of feeds. Application of probiotics which gives best outcome towards growth of the catfish was the P3 treatment with the probiotic dosage of 20 mL kg-1 of feeds, with the absolute length growth of 11,27 cm, absolute weight growth of 9,02 g, and FCR value of 0,8. On the other hand, SGR and survival rate were shown that P2 treatment with the probiotic dosage of 10 mL kg-1 of feeds resulted in SGR value of 8,11% day-1 and SR value of 82%. Business analysis resulted with biggest total profit is P2 treatment with a profit of Rp78.188.657 year1 . The application of EM4 probiotics affects the growth performance of pearl Mutiara and effective dosage can be applied is 10 mL kg-1 of feeds.-
