Testing for heavy metals in fish meat does not only depend on existing procedures, but can also be modified to develop methods. Palladium is very effective because it has a high boiling point, so analytes can be stabilized at high temperatures. Method validation needs to be carried out to prove whether the method used is specific, accurate and reliable. The aim of this research was to determine the results of the validation of the cadmium analysis method in fish which includes linearity, precision, accuracy, LoD and LoQ and determine the estimated uncertainty value. Fish samples were digested with 5 mL HNO3 and 1 mL H2O2 using a microwave digestion program and measured using Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (GF-AAS) at a wavelength of 228.8 nm. The coefficient of determination value obtained (R²) = 0.99 with % RSD < 15%, and the accuracy value was in the range of 80?110%. The LoD value was 0.017 mg/kg and the LoQ value was 0.028 mg/kg. The estimated uncertainty value in the cadmium metal analysis method is 0.106 ± 0.071 µg/g.
