Effective and efficient waste management is a major challenge in various companies, including PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Fuel Terminal Boyolali, which is a national vital object. The domestic waste produced by this company reaches 0.545 tons per week, but its management is still not optimal due to several obstacles. This study aims to identify the weight, volume, and composition of domestic waste generation and formulate alternative solutions for operational technical design that are in accordance with the company's existing conditions. The method used in this study involved sampling for eight consecutive days to measure the weight and volume of waste generated, which was then compared to the normal standard. The results of the study showed that the generation of waste reached 1.05 kg/employee/day and 2.84 liters/employee/day, both of which exceeded the set standard limits. The composition of waste is dominated by yard waste at 82.17%, which indicates the need for further management. Alternative solutions proposed include a container system that supports waste separation from the source, more efficient collection, and better utilization and transportation of waste. The implementation of this operational technical design is expected to reduce negative impacts on the environment and improve the company's operational efficiency. This finding is not only relevant for PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, but can also be applied to other similar companies. |
