dc.description.abstractIkan Rainbow biru Melanotaenia lacustris merupakan salah satu ikan hias yang banyak digemari dan mengalami peningkatan produksi mencapai 4,35% per tahunnya. Produksi ikan rainbow biru tidak terlepas dari adanya serangan penyakit, salah satunya parasit. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menguji efektifitas ekstrak daun ketapang dengan dosis berbeda sebagai anti parasit pada kegiatan pendederan ikan rainbow biru Melanotaenia lacustris. Pemeliharaan ikan rainbow dengan rendaman ekstrak ketapang dilakukan selama 35 hari. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap yang terdiri atas tiga perlakuan dan empat ulangan yaitu dosis 0,04 g L-1, 0,08 g L-1 dan tanpa penambahan ekstrak daun ketapang. Daun ketapang dikeringkan lalu direbus dan disaring untuk menghasikan ekstrak ketapang cair. Parasit yang ditemukan pada penelitian ini adalah Gyrodactylus sp. dan Dactylogyrus sp. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ekstrak daun ketapang dosis 0,04 g L-1 efektif menurunkan persentase prevalensi sebanyak 40%, intensitas parasit sebanyak 1,5 ind/ekor serta meningkatkan sintasan paling tinggi dari perlakuan lainnya yaitu 76%.-
dc.description.abstractBlue rainbow fish Melanotaenia lacustris is one of the most popular ornamental fish and has increased production by 4,35% per year. Blue rainbow fish production is inseparable from disease attacks, one of which is parasites. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of ketapang leaf extract with different doses as an anti-parasite in the breeding activities of blue rainbow fish Melanotaenia lacustris. Maintenance of rainbow fish with ketapang extract baths was carried out for 35 days. This study was conducted using a completely randomized design method consisting of three treatments and four replicates, namely doses of 0,04 g L-1, 0,08 g L-1 and without the addition of ketapang leaf extract. Ketapang leaves were dried and then boiled and filtered to produce liquid ketapang extract. The parasites found in this study were Gyrodactylus sp. and Dactylogyrus sp. The results showed that the 0,04 g L-1 dose of ketapang leaf extract effectively reduced the prevalence percentage by 40%, parasite intensity by 1,5 ind/head and increased the highest survival rate from the other treatments which was 76%.-
