India memiliki rata-rata efisiensi tertinggi sedangkan Bangladesh terendah. Peningkatan GDP riil negara mitra signifikan memengaruhi peningkatkan nilai ekspor riil minyak kelapa sawit. | |
| dc.description.abstract | As the world's largest producer and exporter, Indonesia has the potential to develop palm oil as its leading export commodity. However, the development of Indonesia's real export value in 2003-2022 showed a negative trend. This study aims to analyze export efficiency as well as the determinants of exports and inefficiency of Indonesian palm oil exports to eight destination countries in 2003-2022 using the stochastic frontier gravity model method. The analysis shows that the efficiency of Indonesian palm oil exports to each country has a positive trend. India has the highest average efficiency while Bangladesh has the lowest. An increase in the real GDP of partner countries significantly affects the increase in the real export value of palm oil. While an increase in Indonesia's real GDP and economic distance affects the decrease in the real export value of palm oil. This study also statistically proves that increasing trade openness, real exchange rate, and container port traffic can reduce the value of export inefficiency. Therefore, to increase the efficiency value, efforts are needed to increase the export value to partner countries that have high trade openness, maintain exchange rate stability and balance, and improve the quality of port infrastructure. | |
