dc.description.abstractPerancangan user interface menjadi salah satu komponen yang harus diperhatikan dalam pengembangan sistem terutama pada aplikasi mobile yang mengharuskan pengguna berinteraksi langsung dengan tampilan pada layar. PT Mari Works Solution sedang mengembangkan aplikasi point of sale berbasis mobile bernama MWS POS yang diperlukan oleh perusahaan untuk melakukan manajemen dalam pengelolaan transaksi dan ticketing pada saat event sedang berlangsung. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan user interface aplikasi MWS POS menggunakan metode Design Thinking yang memiliki lima tahapan, yaitu emphatize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Tahapan emphatize dan define telah dilakukan sebelumnya sehingga pada penelitian akan langsung berfokus pada tahapan ideate, prototype, dan test. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan Heuristic Evaluation untuk menentukan tingkat usability dari user interface yang dibuat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rancangan user interface aplikasi MWS POS menggunakan metode Design Thinking. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa rancangan high-fidelity prototype aplikasi MWS POS dengan hasil pengujian usability berdasarkan Severity Rating mendapatkan nilai skala 1, yaitu cosmetic problem.-
dc.description.abstractUser interface design is a critical component in system development, especially for mobile applications where users interact directly with the on-screen display. PT Mari Works Solution is developing a mobile-based point of sale application called MWS POS, needed for managing transactions and ticketing during events. This study focuses on designing the user interface of the MWS POS application using the Design Thinking method, which includes five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The empathize and define stages have been previously completed, so this study will focus directly on the ideate, prototype, and test stages. Testing is conducted using Heuristic Evaluation to determine the usability level of the created user interface. The aim of this research is to produce a user interface design for the MWS POS application using the Design Thinking method. The result is a high-fidelity prototype design for the MWS POS application, with usability testing outcomes rated at Severity Rating scale 1, indicating a cosmetic problem.-
