Coffee pulp waste has the potential to be an organic fertilizer because rich in nutrients for plants. Before applicated coffee pulp into fertilizer it is needs decompostion of the cellulose and lignin fibers into a simple compound that can be absorb by plants. One of the methode composing organic fertilizer used the bokashi method by adding EM4 microorganisms. The matured bokashi fertilizer is characterized by changes in the condition of the coffee pulb waste including stable temperature, change of color into darker, small particle and the smell is not stink. After the bokashi fertilizer matures, a maturity test is carried out that covers temperature, color, texture and smell based on literature. Then tested the density, water capacity and pH of bokashi fertilizer and compared the characteristics with other organic fertilizer and analyzed the effects of its interaction on the soil medium growing robusta coffee. |
