| dc.description.abstract | Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh DS Fish Store yaitu rendahnya persentase telur ikan red cap itungi yang berhasil menetas. Rendahmya telur yang menetas disebabkan oleh serangan jamur Saprolegnia. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan projek akhir ini untuk menguji aktivitas methylene blue dan ektrak daun ketapang sebagai antifungi untuk meningkatkan daya tetas telur ikan red cap itungi. Metode yang dilakukan berupa perendaman telur ikan red cap itungi dengan methylene blue dan ekstrak daun ketapang selama 14 hari dengan tiga tahapan. Tahapan pertama dengan methylene blue, tahapan kedua dengan ekstrak daun ketapang dan tahapan ketiga perbandingan antara methylene blue dan ekstrak daun ketapang. Hasil dari kegiatan ini pada tahapan pertama menggunakan methylene blue 1 mg L-1 menghasil daya tetas terbaik sebesar 58,7±5,1% dan sintasan 86,5±4,6%. Tahapan kedua dengan menggunakan ekstrak daun ketapang 0,01 g L-1 menghasilkan daya tetas terbaik sebesar 31,5±5,1%, dan sintasan 90,2±9,2%. Tahapan ketiga menghasilkan daya tetas terbaik sebesar 62,2±6,9% pada perlakuan methylene blue 1 mg L-1 dan sintasan terbaik sebesar 92,7±7,1% pada perlakuan ekstrak daun ketapang 0,01 g L-1 . Aktivitas antifungi terbaik untuk meningkatkan daya tetas telur ikan red cap itungi didapatkan pada perlakuan yang menggunakan methylene blue. | - |
| dc.description.abstract | The problem faced by the DS Fish Store is the low percentage of red cap fish eggs that have successfully hatched. Low-lying eggs that hatch are caused by the attack Saprolegnia. The purpose of the implementation of this final project was to test the activity of methylene blue and ketapang leaf extract as antifungal agent to increase the hatchability of red cap fish eggs. The method was carried out by soaking red cap fish eggs with methylene blue and ketapang leaf extract for 14 days in three stages. The first was methylene blue, the second stage was ketapang leaf extract and the third stage was a comparison between methylene blue and ketapang leaf extract. The results of this activity in the first stage using methylene blue (1 mg L-1 ) produced the best hatchability (58,7±5,1%) and survival (86,5±4,6%). The second stage the using (0,01 g L-1 ) ketapang leaf extract produced the best hatchability (31,5±5,1%), and survival (90,2±9.2%). The third stage produced the best hatchability of 62,2±6,9% in the treatment 1 mg L-1 methylene blue and the best survival of 92,7±7,1% in the treatment with 0,01 g L-1 ketapang leaf extract. The best antifungal activity to increase the hatchability of red cap fish eggs was obtained with methylene blue treatment. | - |
