The bintangur tree (Callophyllum soulatri burm. f) is one of the types of trees found in the Dramaga Research Forest. There are 31 individuals of the well growing bintangur tree and the rest are mostly dead and falling. The fallen bintangur tree will be used as a material for making briquettes. This study aims to analyze the quality of briquettes made from the wood of the bintangur tree. In this study, there were three adhesive treatments, namely (P1) 100 grams of tapioca flour, (P2) 100 grams of sago flour, (P3) 50 grams of tapioca flour plus 50 grams of sago flour. The method to see the quality is ANOVA statistical analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, good briquettes are a composition of 500 grams of bintangur wood and 100 grams of sago flour adhesive, with a moisture content of 7.34%, ash content of 1.938%, a calorific value of 6,432 cal/h, and a burning rate of 4.4 g/min.
