Abstract: | FARIZ ALFAROBI HARAHAP. Efisiensi Pelubangan Tanah saat Tranpslanting Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) Memakai Bor di PT. Hindoli Cargil Indonesia.

Efficiency of Soil Holing transplanting Pre-nursery Oil Palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) seedlings Using a Drill at PT Hindoli Cargil Indonesia. Supervised by LILI DAHLIANI. The manual soil hole maker made from PVC pipes does not reach the appropriate depth, causing the seedlings to easily topple over or be pulled out of their polybags. This research aims to analyze the efficiency and effectiveness of using a BOSCH drill and biopore drill bits from a technical and cost perspective. The research method uses both primary and secondary data. The data is processed using Ms Excel to calculate the efficiency of mechanical and manual soil perforation, followed by the Minitab application to compare whether the differences in mechanical and manual soil perforation are statistically significant or not. The results show that using a drill machine for soil perforation during transplanting is more efficient than using PVC pipes. Drilling 1000 polybags mechanically takes 4 hours and 30 minutes. The cost of mechanical soil perforation is IDR 5.8 million, while manual soil perforation costs IDR 7.7 million. Keywords: Efficiency, transplanting, biopore drill, seedling, oil palm. |
