Abstract: Jasa logistik, termasuk jasa penyimpanan produk pangan menjadi salah satu kategori yang wajib melakukan sertifikasi halal hingga bulan Oktober 2024. Jasa penyimpanan memiliki titik kritis yang dapat mempengaruhi kehalalan produk. Pelaku usaha di bidang jasa penyimpanan ini masih terbilang jarang yang melakukan sertifikasi halal karena ditemui kendala pada saat sertifikasi halal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana prosedur sertifikasi halal, kendala yang dihadapi oleh pelaku usaha, dan solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut. Pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara serta diskusi dengan tim LPPOM MUI. Proses sertifikasi halal bagi melalui jalur reguler terbagi menjadi beberapa tahapan berdasarkan aturan BPJPH. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh pelaku usaha meliputi penyusunan dokumen manual SJPH, rekaman implementasi fasilitas penyimpanan penjadwalan audit, pemeriksaan penyimpanan, pemeriksaan dokumen manual SJPH, pemenuhan tindakan perbaikan atas temuan implementasi penyimpanan, keterlambatan penerbitan Ketetapan Halal, dan keterlambatan penerbitan sertifikasi halal. Solusi untuk mengatasi kendala ini memerlukan peran dari pelaku usaha yang lebih aktif dalam komunikasi.
Logistics services, including food storage services, are one of the categories required to obtain halal certification by October 2024. Storage services have critical points that can affect the halal status of products. Few businesses in the storage services sector have obtained halal certification due to various obstacles. This research aims to understand the halal certification procedures, the challenges faced by businesses, and the appropriate solutions to overcome these challenges. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, interviews, and discussions with the LPPOM MUI team. The halal certification process through the reguler pathway consists of several stages based on BPJPH regulations. The challenges faced by businesses include preparing SJPH manual documents, recording the implementation of storage facilities, scheduling audits, inspecting storage, reviewing SJPH manual documents, addressing corrective actions for storage implementation findings, delays in issuing the Halal Decree, and delays in issuing halal certification. Solutions to these challenges require more active involvement from businesses in communication.
