Abstract: Ekowisata adalah suatu bentuk pariwisata yang menekankan pada pelestarian alam dari aspek ekologi, sosial, budaya dan ekonomi. Kabupaten Kebumen di Jawa Tengah mempunyai potensi ekowisata, terutama pantai berpasirnya yang banyak menarik pengunjung. Untuk mengembangkan ekowisata pantai di Kebumen, penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Desember-Maret 2024 dengan menggunakan studi literatur, observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner. Terdapat 22 pantai di Kebumen, terdiri dari 14 pantai landai dan 8 pantai diperbukitan. Responden menilai potensi ekowisata untuk mengetahui preferensi pengunjung. Berdasarkan kajian tersebut, dirancang tiga program ekowisata: program harian “Mendoan”, program semalam “Vacation in the hidden paradise of Kebumen” dan program tahunan “Grebek Rowo ing Pantai Rowo”. Promosi visual berupa poster juga dibuat untuk mendukung pengembangan ekowisata pantai.
Ecotourism is a form of tourism that emphasizes nature conservation from ecological, social, cultural and economic aspects. Kebumen Regency in Central Java has ecotourism potential, especially its sandy beaches which attract many visitors. To develop beach ecotourism in Kebumen, research was conducted in December-March 2024 using literature studies, observations, interviews and questionnaires. There are 22 beaches in Kebumen, consisting of 14 sloping beaches and 8 hilly beaches. Respondents assessed the potential of ecotourism to determine visitor preferences. Based on this study, three ecotourism programs were designed: the daily program “Mendoan”, the overnight program “Holidays in the Hidden Paradise of Kebumen”, and the annual program “Grebek Rowo ing Pantai Rowo”. Visual promotions in the form of posters were also created to support the development of coastal ecotourism.
