Sehingga didapatkan nilai total WTP sebesar Rp 3.887.087.145,06per tahun.-
Lake Singkarak has been classified as one of the Republic of Indonesia’s National Priority Lakes since 2009. Despite its significant economic benefits, the anthropogenic activities around the lake have caused various environmental impacts, such as sedimentation and macroplastic waste accumulation, which eventually affect its tourism sector. Considering these circumstances, this research is conducted to: (1) identify and analyze tourists' perceptions on the lake’s tourism and macroplastic problems also its management, and (2) assess the willingness to pay (WTP) of the most preferred macroplastic waste management options at Lake Singkarak. The data was analyzed using descriptive analysis (tables, diagrams, and inferential analysis using Likert scale). The willingness to pay is calculated using the relative frequency method. Meanwhile the factors which affect WTP is computed with the logistic regressions. The calculated Likert score is 3.66, which indicates that the lake’s tourism is in moderately good conditions. Meanwhile, the identified factors which influences respondents' WTP are tourists' origin, and occupation. The average WTP is 5.805,6 IDR per tourist per visit for macroplastic waste bin placement management. Therefore, the estimated total WTP value is 3.887.087.145,06 IDR per year.-
