Abstract: Kegiatan pengeboran sumur dilakukan pada tahun 2020 untuk menambah kapasitas air bersih yang berdampak pada air yang dihasilkan menjadi keruh dan berbau, masyarakat mengeluhkan kinerja pegawai yang kurang cepat tanggap saat adanya permasalahan terhadap pelayanan distribusi air. Menganalisis parameter fisik berdasarkan pendapat masyarakat, mengidentifikasi konsentrasi besi (Fe) dan mangan (Mn) sebelum dan sesudah proses pengolahan. Pengujian kandungan Fe dan Mn dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan parameter kekeruhan, pH, sisa chlor dan bakteriologi serta pendapat masyarakat yang digunakan untuk menentukan bau, rasa, dan warna. Hasil observasi lapang menunjukkan air yang berbau masih menjadi keluhan dari beberapa pelanggan. Nilai konsentrasi besi dan mangan pada bulan Desember 2023 dan Januari 2024 sudah berada di bawah baku mutu. Selain uji laboratorium, pihak instansi disarankan untuk melakukan uji organoleptik untuk meminimalisir adanya keluhan pelanggan mengenai air berbau dan keruh dan disarankan untuk melakukan evaluasi internal dari instansi serta membentuk tim tanggap darurat untuk menangani keluhan pelanggan apabila terjadi kebocoran pipa pada hari libur.
In 2020, well drilling activities were carried out to improve clean water capacity, but this resulted in water becoming cloudy and smelly. The community expressed dissatisfaction with the employees' lack of responsiveness to water distribution problems. To analyse the issue, iron (Fe) and manganese (Mn) concentrations were measured before and after treatment. Parameters such as turbidity, pH, residual chlorine, bacteriology, and community opinions regarding odour, taste, and colour were considered. Field observations indicated that some customers still complained about smelly water. However, by December 2023 and January 2024, the iron and manganese concentrations were already below the quality standards. To address customer complaints about smelly and cloudy water, it is suggested that the agency conduct organoleptic tests and evaluate its internal processes. Furthermore, establishing an emergency response team to handle customer complaints during pipe leaks on holidays is advised.
