Salter-Harris is a classification system for injuries in the physis area. This case study aimed to study the occurrence of fracture cases in domestic cats and evaluate wound healing post-surgery. The patient’s anamnesis, an 8-month-old domestic short hair, had presented with a limp and a protruding bone that had persisted for two weeks. The chronic open wound had led to infection and necrosis of the tissue. Case management had included leech therapy before performing surgery and the Open Reduction Internal Fixation (ORIF) method, a surgical procedure to stabilize fractures by placing wires to maintain the position of bone fragments. Radiographic examination results on the 60th day post-operation had shown the tibia bone had returned to normal, with no changes in size, shape, number, location, and margins compared to the healthy leg. This case study indicates that patients with fractures and chronic wounds can undergo surgery without needing amputation and could bear weight well, although the muscle had experienced atrophy and joint flexibility had not been perfect.-
