Wings are the producers of lifting force which greatly influences the aerodynamic performance of fixed wing type UAVs, including range and flight endurance. The angle of attack of the airfoil is the main factor in lift and drag force changes. This research aims to analyze changes in the fluid distribution of the NACA 4312 airfoil with different angles of attack and different air speeds and calculate the lift force and drag force to determine the optimal angle of attack for land mapping with fixed wing type UAV. So that the research results can be a reference for determine the angle of attack for the NACA 4312 airfoil used on fixed wing type UAVs. The aerodynamic analysis method used is based on Computational Fluid Dynamics in ANSYS Fluent software. The research stages consist of: (1) literature study, (2) airfoil determination and design, (3) fluid analysis, and (4) Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation. By carrying out 9 angles of attack and 3 air speeds, it can be concluded that the lift force and efficiency of the airfoil will increase relative to the angle of attack until it reaches its maximum angle, then the afficiency will decrease. Meanwhile, the most optimal fluid distribution is at an angle of attack of 9° with an average Cl(Lift Coefficient)=1,2396, Cd(Drag Coefficient)=0,022203 and Cl/Cd ratio=55,90257. These results show that the NACA 4312 airfoil is will be best at angle of attack of 9° for land mapping purposes with a fixed wing type UAV.-
