dc.description.abstractPT. Omah Lele Jogja merupakan usaha perseorangan yang memiliki mitra budidaya pembesaran lele. Tingginya harga pakan komersial, baik yang didistribusikan Omah Lele maupun yang beredar di pasaran menyebabkan tipisnya keuntungan yang diperoleh dari penjualan lele konsumsi bagi mitra, sehingga timbul usaha untuk memproduksi pakan mandiri berbasis bahan lokal. Untuk memproduksinya, dibutuhkan metode formulasi yang akurat dengan tujuan mengoptimalkan nutrisi dan meminimalkan harga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memformulasikan pakan mandiri berbasis bahan lokal menggunakan program linier dengan metode simpleks, membuat dan mengevaluasi kualitas fisik dari prototype pakan mandiri, dan memproyeksikan keuntungan usaha atas penggunaan pakan mandiri. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapat formula 59,63% tepung ikan; 24,37% biskuit halus; 5,00% dedak jagung; dan 1,00% vitamin mix. Pakan mandiri memiliki karakteristik fisik: cepat tenggelam, beraroma menarik bagi ikan, tektur yang mudah rapuh, serta direspons baik oleh ikan. Harga pakan mandiri sebesar Rp7.725,40 dan skenario budidaya dengan kombinasi pakan lebih menguntungkan dari skenario budidaya dengan pakan komersial secara penuh. Pengembangan bisnis pakan mandiri dapat menambah keuntungan selain usaha pembesaran ikan lele.-
dc.description.abstractPT. Omah Lele Jogja is a sole proprietorship that partners with others for catfish farming. The high cost of commercial feed, both distributed by Omah Lele and available in the market, results in slim profits from the sale of consumption catfish for partners. This has led to efforts to produce independent feed based on local ingredients. To achieve this, an accurate formulation method is required to optimize nutrition and minimize costs. This study aims to formulate independent feed based on local ingredients using linear programming with the simplex method, create and evaluate the physical quality of the independent feed prototype, and project business profits from using the independent feed. The results of this study produced a formula consisting of 59.63% fish meal, 24.37% fine biscuits, 5.00% corn bran, and 1.00% vitamin mix. The independent feed has physical characteristics of sinking quickly, having an aroma attractive to fish, a brittle texture, and being well-received by the fish. The cost of the independent feed is Rp7,725.40, and the farming scenario using the feed combination is more profitable than the scenario using only commercial feed. Developing the independent feed business can increase profits in addition to the farm.-
