Abstract: Teki merupakan gulma yang menjadi permasalahan pada budidaya pertanian. Seiring permasalahan teki sebagai gulma, salah satu alternatif yaitu pemanfaatan umbi teki sebagai bioherbisida. Umbi (Cyperus rotundus L.) dapat digunakan sebagai herbisida pra-tumbuh, baik pada skala laboratorium maupun pengujian lapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan peningkatan produksi pada umbi teki (Cyperus rotundus L.) dengan penggunaan asam giberelin (Gibberellic Acid). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2023 sampai Februari 2024 di kebun percobaan Cikabayan, Departemen Agronomi dan Hortikultura, Fakultas Pertanian, IPB university. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) split-plot dengan 2 faktor dengan empat ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu aksesi umbi (Cyperus rotundus L.) dan terdapat 3 aksesi yaitu Blitar, Demak, dan Bogor. Faktor kedua adalah perlakuan taraf asam giberelin (Gibberellic Acid) terdiri dari 4 taraf konsentrasi yaitu 0, 150, 300, 450, dan 600 ppm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aksesi Demak memiliki peningkatan produksi terbaik. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara pemberian asam giberelin dengan aksesi terhadap peningkatan hasil produksi umbi. Konsentrasi GA3 tidak berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan produksi umbi teki.
Seedgrass is a weed that poses problems in agricultural cultivation. Alongside its problem as a weed, one alternative is the utilization of its tubers as a bioherbicide. The tubers (Cyperus rotundus L.) can be used as a pre-emergence herbicide, both in laboratory settings and field trials. This study aimed to enhance the production of seedgrass tubers (Cyperus rotundus L.) using Gibberellic Acid (GA3). The research was conducted from September 2023 to February 2024 at the experimental farm of Cikabayan, Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, IPB University. The study used a Split-Plot Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 2 factors and four repetitions. The first factor was the tuber accession (Cyperus rotundus L.) with three accessions: Blitar, Demak, and Bogor. The second factor involved Gibberellic Acid treatment levels with four concentration levels: 0, 150, 300, 450, and 600 ppm. The research results indicated that the Demak accession exhibited the highest increase in production. There was no interaction between gibberellic acid application and accession regarding the increase in tuber yield. The concentration of GA3 did not effect in the increase in seedgrass tuber production.
