Abstract: Penangkapan kuda laut secara berlebihan mengakibatkan populasi di alam berkurang, oleh karena itu kepunahan dapat dihentikan dengan cara menjaga kelestariannya malalui pengembangan budidaya dan memperhatikan ketersediaan pakan alami. Tujuan penelitian terapan ini menentukan kombinasi pakan optimal dalam meningkatkan performa pertumbuhan. Penelitian menggunakan tiga perlakuan meliputi, Kontrol (Copepoda), P1 (Copepoda dan Artemia sp.), dan P2 (Copepoda dan Diaphanososma spp.). Parameter uji yang diamati yaitu pertumbuhan panjang mtlak (PPM), pertumbuhan bobot mutlak (PBM), laju pertumbuhan spesifik (LPS), sintasan (SR), pengukuran kualitas air, dan analisis profitabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada perlakuan P2 memberikan pengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan kenaikan sintasan yang berbeda nyata. Akan tetapi, perlakukan Kontrol dan P1 diketahui tidak berbeda nyata. Hasil profitabilitas usaha yang menerapkan ketiga perlakuan menunjukkan kelayakan, dan pada perlakuan P2 memiliki R/C ratio tertinggi senilai 1,79, dan keuntunggan tertinggi sebesar Rp241.519.204,000.

The observed parameters were length growth (PPM), absolute weight growth (PBM), specific growth rate (LPS), survival rate (SR), water quality measurements, and profitability analysis The research results indicate that treatment P2 significantly influenced growth and survival rate however, the Control and P1 treatments were not significantly different. The profitability results of businesses implementing all three treatments indicate feasibility, and in treatment P2, the highest R/C ratio is 1.79, with the highest profit amounting to Rp241.519.204.000.
