| Abstract: | Cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) menjadi salah satu komoditas sayuran utama di Indonesia yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi. Produktivitas cabai rawit di tahun 2023 sebesar 7,79 ton ha-1 masih rendah jika dibandingkan dengan potensinya sebesar 20 ton ha-1.. Penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari pengaruh interaksi antara perlakuan teknik budi daya dan perlakuan varietas terhadap pertumbuhan dan produktivitas, serta mengetahui perlakuan terbaik untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dari masing-masing varietas. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan September 2023 hingga April 2024 menggunakan Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT) - faktorial dengan dua faktor yaitu paket budi daya dan varietas. Perlakuan budi daya terdiri atas 5 taraf dan perlakuan varietas terdiri atas 2 taraf. Perlakuan teknologi budi daya terdiri atas kombinasi pemupukan dan perlakuan pemangkasan yang dijelaskan sebagai berikut, P1: pupuk kandang fermentasi + NPK + Gandasil + pangkas tunas lateral, P2: pupuk kandang fermentasi + NPK + Gandasil + tanpa pemangkasan, P3: pupuk kandang fermentasi + AB Mix + pangkas tunas lateral, P4: pupuk kandang fermentasi + AB Mix + tanpa pemangkasan, P5: pupuk kandang tidak difermentasi + NPK + Gandasil + tanpa pemangkasan. Dua varietas yang digunakan yaitu Bonita IPB IPB dan Feira IPB. Terdapat interaksi antara perlakuan varietas dan budi daya pada karakter jumlah buah per tanaman, bobot buah per tanaman, jumlah buah layak, dan potensi produktivitas. Perlakuan terbaik untuk varietas Bonita IPB adalah perlakuan P1 dengan potensi produktivitas sebesar 13,34 ton ha-1. Perlakuan terbaik untuk varietas Feira IPB adalah P5 dengan potensi produktivitas sebesar 12,53 ton ha-1. Red cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) is one of the main vegetable commodities in Indonesia with high economic value. The productivity of red cayenne pepper in 2023 was 7.79 tons ha-1 which is still low compared to its potential productivity of 20 tons ha-1. This research aims to study the influence of the interaction of cultivation techniques and variety on growth and productivity, as well as to identify the best treatment to increase the productivity of each variety. The research was conducted from September 2023 to April 2024 using a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) - factorial with two factors, cultivation technologies and varieties. The cultivation technologies consisted of 5 levels and the variety treatments consisted of 2 levels. The cultivation technology were a combination of fertilization and pruning treatments described as follows: P1: fermented manure + NPK + Gandasil + pruning of shoots, P2: fermented manure + NPK + Gandasil + without pruning, P3: fermented manure + AB Mix + pruning of shoots, P4: fermented manure + AB Mix + without pruning, P5: non fermented manure + NPK + Gandasil + without pruning. The two varieties used were Bonita IPB and Feira IPB. There was an interaction between variety and cultivation treatments on the characteristics of the number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, number of marketable fruits and potential of productivity. The best treatment for Bonita IPB was P1, with a productivity potential of 13.34 ton ha-1. The best treatment for Feira IPB was P5, with a productivity potential of 12.53 ton ha-1. |
