dc.description.abstractKegiatan produksi suatu industri dipengaruhi oleh sistem pengaturan gudang. PT Laksana Bus Manufaktur merupakan salah satu produsen transportasi bus di Indonesia. Perusahaan tersebut mengalami permasalahan pada sistem pengaturan gudangnya. Gudang LP yang berfungsi untuk menyimpan komponen body dan rangka bus mengalami permasalahan yaitu tidak tercapainya target yang ditetapkan oleh Departemen Logistik terkait jumlah packing list dan purchase order yang ditangani operator gudang. Penyebab utama masalah tersebut adalah penumpukan material. Metode penyelesaian masalah yang digunakan yaitu metode shared storage dan class–based storage sebagai pengaturan lokasi penyimpanan material serta metode dedicated storage yang digunakan sebagai pengaturan secara keseluruhan letak dari fasilitas gudang. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan kebutuhan luas ruangan, Gudang LP layak untuk dilakukannya perancangan ulang tata letak. Hasil simulasi dengan menggunakan software flexsim menunjukkan bahwa layout usulan memberikan waktu lebih cepat untuk operator dalam menyelesaikan tugas loading dan unloading. Selisih waktu layout aktual dan layout usulan yaitu 13 menit.-
dc.description.sponsorshipThe production activities of an industry are affected by the warehouse management system. PT Laksana Bus Manufaktur is one of the bus transportation manufacturers in Indonesia. The company is experiencing problems with its warehouse management system. The LP warehouse, which functions to store bus body and frame components, is experiencing problems, namely not achieving the targets set by the Logistics Department regarding the number of packing lists and purchase orders handled by warehouse operators. The main cause of the problem is the accumulation of materials. The problem solving method used is the shared storage and class-based storage method as a material storage location arrangement and the dedicated storage method used as an overall arrangement of the location of the warehouse facility. Based on the results of the calculation of space requirements, the LP Warehouse is suitable for redesigning the layout. Simulation results using flexsim software show that the proposed layout provides faster time for operators to complete loading and unloading tasks. The difference between the actual layout time and the proposed layout is 13 minutes.-
