Abstract: | Macaca fascicularis salah satu jenis mamalia yang terdapat di Kampus IPB
Dramaga. Pembangunan yang dilakukan di Kampus IPB Dramaga membuat
semakin berkurangnya tutupan yang biasa dijadikan sebagai habitat oleh monyet
ekor panjang. Penelitian bertujuan mengidentifikasi karakteristik habitat,
mengukur populasi serta menganalisis persebaran monyet ekor panjang. Penelitian
dilakukan pada bulan April – Mei 2021 dengan analisis vegetasi dan metode
concentration count. Monyet ekor panjang menempati habitat yang memiliki suhu
udara berkisar antara 26,5°C – 27,3°C dengan kelembaban relatif 88,5% - 92%.
Jenis paling dominan pada masing-masing tingkat yaitu Syngonium podophyllum,
Geophila repens, dan Costus woodsonii di tingkat semai. Aphanamixis
polystachya, Hevea brasiliensis dan Cinnamomum verum di tingkat pancang.
Hevea brasiliensis dan Shorea leprosula di tingkat tiang. Spathodea campanulata,
Ficus benjamina, dan Hevea brasiliensis di tingkat pohon. Terdapat 13 jenis
tumbuhan dengan bagian yang paling banyak dimanfaatkan sebagai pakan yaitu
bagian buah dengan persentase sebesar 57,14%. Populasi terhitung sebanyak 53
individu dengan kepadatan 3,14 individu/ha serta nisbah kelamin jantan dan
betina sebesar 1:1,1 untuk nisbah kelamin total dan 1:1,2 untuk nisbah kelamin
produktif. Macaca fascicularis is one of the mammals that can be found in IPB Dramaga Campus. The development carried out at IPB Dramaga Campus has reduced the cover that used to be used as habitat by long-tailed macaques. The research aims to identify habitat characteristic, population and analyze the distribution of long-tailed macaque. The research was conducted in April – May 2021 using vegetation analysis and concentration count method. Long-tailed macaque occupied habitat that has air temperatures around 26,5°C – 27,3°C with 88,5% - 92% of relative humidity. The most dominant species are Syngonium podophyllum, Geophila repens, and Costus woodsonii for seedling. Aphanamixis polystachya, Hevea brasiliensis, and Cinnamomum verum for sapling. Hevea brasiliensis and Shorea leprosula for pole. Spathodea campanulata, Ficus benjamina, and Hevea brasiliensis for tree level. There are 13 types of plants with the most widely used part is the fruit part with 57,14%. The population was calculated that there were 53 individuals with 3,14 individuals/ha and a male to female sex ratio with 1:1,1 for total sex ratio and 1:1,2 for productive sex ratio. |
