This research goals is to make researchers competent and skilled in managing weed control with the CS8 work system innovation in the field, especially in areas of mature oil palm plantations and implementing the CS8 work system innovation based on the results analysis it’s use in weed control and application in the process of managing palm oil production in Minamas plantations. The data is collected, processed and analyzed in this research are primary data and secondary data. Primary data includes vegetation analysis and interviews with several relevant officials. Secondary data includes output, costs, rainfall and production. The analysis used in this research is: Dominance Ratio (NJD) to calculate weed density, and SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). The research results show that the weeds that dominate the oil palm area at the research location are broad-brush weeds (62%), re-grassed weeds (19.99%) and fern-type weeds (7.34%). The results of the SWOT analysis of the CS8 work system are in the position of a combination of strategies that is a strategy of using strength to avoid threats. |
