Information on population size and distribution that determine the presence of sun bears is needed by PT TMK as one of the considerations in formulating biodiversity conservation strategies, especially sun bears.. This study aims to identify the population size and spatial distribution of sun bear activity tracks and their relationship with habitat characteristics in the area. Data were collected using the album method through camera traps, observation of activity tracks with transect lines and vegetation analysis. Data were analyzed for population size by determining the number of individuals identified, determining the distribution of activity traces by spatial and morisita index, and chi-square test to determine the relationship between the distribution of sun bear activity traces and habitat characteristics. Based on the results of the camera trap population size, six sun bears were found with distribution data of 27 activity traces including 26 scratches and one chunk, scattered in groups influenced by distance from water sources and vegetation density at the pole growth level.
