Cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) menjadi komoditas penting dan banyak dibudidayakan di Indonesia. Produksi nasional yang belum bisa memenuhi permintaan konsumen mendorong peningkatan produktivitas cabai rawit nasional. Pengelolaan tanaman secara konvensional dengan pemupukan yang kurang efisien masih banyak dilakukan oleh petani, sebaliknya pemupukan secara fertigasi meningkatkan hasil dan menurunkan biaya produksi. Perencanaan manajemen budidaya, meliputi penetapan dosis pupuk yang tepat, bisa dilakukan dengan menggunakan DSS (Decision Support System). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dosis rekomendasi pemupukan yang tepat untuk cabai rawit sehingga mampu mencapai produktivitas optimum dengan budidaya memakai mulsa plastik. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada jenis tanah inceptisol, kandungan C-Organik sebesar 1,53 % (rendah), P-tersedia sebesar 4,8 ppm (sangat rendah), K-tersedia sebesar 44,2 ppm (sedang), dan pH tanah sebesar 6,48 (agak asam). Penelitian dilakukan di Kebun Percobaan Cikarawang, Institut Pertanian Bogor. Percobaan dilaksanakan pada Juni 2021-Januari 2022 disusun dalam Rancangan Kelompok Lengkap Teracak (RKLT), lima ulangan dengan lima taraf perlakuan dosis pemupukan yaitu 0% X, 50% X, 100% X, 150% X, 200% X, X merupakan dosis rekomendasi pupuk berdasarkan program FERADS (498 kg ha-1 Urea, 244 kg ha-1 TSP, 224 kg ha-1 KCl). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi dosis pemupukan berdasarkan rekomendasi FERADS secara fertigasi melalui irigasi tetes pada lahan inceptisol dengan kandungan P-tersedia 4,8 ppm (sangat rendah), K-tersedia 44,2 ppm (sedang) meningkatkan pertumbuhan tanaman meliputi tinggi tanaman secara kuadratik, bobot kering tajuk secara linier, umur berbunga dan umur buah masak secara linier, namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas tanaman cabai varietas ORI 212. Dosis optimum pemupukan secara fertigasi melalui irigasi tetes untuk cabai rawit varietas ORI 212 sebesar 115,6% dari dosis rekomendasi FERADS (498 kg ha-1 Urea, 244 kg ha-1 TSP, 224 kg ha-1 KCl) diperoleh dari pertumbuhan tinggi tanaman. Kondisi lahan dengan P-tersedia sangat rendah dan K-tersedia sedang menghasilkan bobot buah per hektar mencapai 10,55 ton ha-1, 4,92 ton ha-1 buah marketable dan 5,63 ton ha-1 buah unmarketable. Budidaya cabai rawit varietas ORI 212 secara fertigasi menggunakan 100% rekomendasi FERADS karena kenaikan pertumbuhan tanaman tidak signifikan meskipun diberikan dosis pupuk yang lebih tinggi.

Supervised by KETTY SUKETI and ANAS DINURROHMAN SUSILA. Chili pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.) is an important commodity and is widely cultivated in Indonesia. National production which has not been able to meet consumer demand has encouraged an increase in national chili pepper productivity. Conventional crop management with less efficient fertilization is still widely used by farmers; on the other hand, fertigation can increase yields and reduce production costs. Cultivation management planning, including determining the right fertilizer rate, can be made with a DSS (Decision Support System). This research aims to determine the precise recommended rate of fertilizer for chili pepper so that it can achieve optimum productivity by cultivating using plastic mulch. This research was carried out on inceptisol soil type, C-Organic content was 1,53% (low), P-available was 4,8 ppm (very low), K-available was 44,2 ppm (medium), and soil pH of 6,48 (slightly acidic). The research was conducted at the Cikarawang Experimental Station, Bogor Agricultural Institute. The experiment was carried out in June 2021-January 2022 and was arranged in a Randomized Complete Group Design, five repitition with five treatment levels of TSP, Urea and KCl fertilizer doses 0% X, 50% X, 100% X, 150% X, 200% X, X is recommended fertilizer rates based on the FERADS program (498 kg ha-1 Urea, 244 kg ha-1 TSP, 224 kg ha-1 KCl). The research results show that application of fertilization rates based on FERADS recommendation using fertigation through drip irrigation on inceptisol land with available P content of 4,8 ppm (very low) and available K content of 44,2 ppm (moderate) enhances plant growth. This improvement includes quadratic plant height, linear shoot dry weight, flowering age, and fruit ripening age. However, it does not significantly affect the productivity of chili pepper variety ORI 212. The optimum fertigation rate for chili pepper variety ORI 212 is 115,6% of the recommended FERADS rate (498 kg ha-1 Urea, 244 kg ha-1 TSP, 224 kg ha-1 KCl), determined based on plant height growth. The productivity of chili pepper variety ORI 212 reached 10,55 tons ha-1, with 4,92 tons ha-1 of marketable fruit and 5,63 tons ha-1 of unmarketable fruit. Cultivation of chili pepper variety ORI 212 using 100% of the FERADS recommendation rate through fertigation is advisable due to the insignificant growth increase observed with higher fertilizer rates.
