The leopard gecko is an insectivorous animal, feeding on insects such as mealworms, superworms, and crickets. Adding calcium powder to their food has benefits including forming eggshells, promoting bone growth, and preventing MBD (Metabolic Bone Disease). This study aimed to analyze the morphometrics of sub-adult leopard geckos fed crickets coated with calcium powder. The study used the independent T-test method with 2 treatments and 7 replications on both male and female leopard geckos. The results showed that feeding crickets coated with calcium powder did not affect the morphometric growth and body weight of juvenile male and female leopard geckos. Juvenile male leopard geckos did not require additional calcium powder, while females need it for reproductive preparation |
