Abstract: Enzim papain dan probiotik merupakan bahan tambahan pada pakan yang memiliki peranan dalam pemanfaatan pakan, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk memperbaiki kinerja pertumbuhan dan kinerja produksi budidaya ikan gurami. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh pemberian probiotik, enzim papain, dan kombinasinya terhadap kinerja pertumbuhan, kinerja pemanfaatan pakan, dan analisis usaha budidaya skala semi intensif. Penelitian ini menggunakan rangkaian acak lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan yaitu perlakuan kontrol (pakan tanpa diberi enzim papain dan probiotik), perlakuan A (8 mL kg-1 probiotik), perlakuan B (32,5 g kg-1 enzim papain), serta perlakuan C (kombinasi 0,25 g kg-1 enzim papain dan 15 mL kg-1 probiotik). Ikan gurami yang ditebar awal 5,82±0,09 g ekor-1 dipelihara pada bak fiber (diameter 3 m dengan ketinggian 1,2 m) selama 42 hari dengan padat tebar 15 ekor m-2 . Penambahan kombinasi enzim papain dan probiotik terbukti dapat meningkatkan kinerja pertumbuhan, pemanfaatan pakan, dan bekerja efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja produksi budidaya ikan gurami.
Papain enzyme and probiotics are feed additives that have a role in feed utilization, so they can be used to improve the growth performance and production performance of gourami fish farming. This study aims to evaluation the effect of probiotics, papain enzyme, and their combination on growth performance, feed utilization performance, and semi-intensive scale aquaculture business analysis. This study used a complete randomized circuit with 4 treatments, treatment control (feed without papain enzyme and probiotics), treatment A (8 mL kg-1 probiotics), treatment B (32,5 g kg-1 papain enzyme), and treatment C (combination of 0.25 g kg-1 papain enzyme and 15 mL kg-1 probiotics). The initial stocked gourami fish of 5.82 ± 0.09 g fish-1 were reared in fiber tanks (3 m diameter with a height of 1,2 m) for 42 days with a stocking density of 15 fish m-2 . The addition of a combination of papain enzymes and probiotics is proven to improve growth performance, feed utilization, and work effectively in improving the production performance of gourami fish farming.
