Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, field observations, documentation, and focus group discussions (FGDs). The results showed that cocoa cultivation problems in Karunia Village include poor farm management, pest and disease attacks, and unproductive age of cocoa plants. The process of empowering farmers goes through three stages, namely the awareness stage, the skills transfer stage, and the skills improvement stage.
