PT Amerta Indah Otsuka's need to improve the quality of providing information regarding the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) prompted this research. The use of old methods such as presentations is considered monotonous and less interactive. Based on these problems, the application of Augmented Reality (AR) technology is a solution to introduce WTP in an interactive way. The aim of this research is to develop an AR application to introduce three-dimensional WTP facilities created using Blender software. This application development uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) methodology. The MDLC method was chosen because it has structured stages from start to finish. The results of this research are an Android-based AR application with a markerless tracking method that displays objects and information about WTP. The application has been tested and obtained an average score of 86.24% which shows that the application is suitable for use and publication. |
