This study aims to evaluate ecotourism potential, analyze the quality of natural tourism objects (OWAs), assess the feasibility of facilities and infrastructure, and design attractive ecotourism packages in Gunung Merapi National Park (TNGM). The methods used are surveys and interviews involving 100 respondents consisting of visitors and managers of OWAs in TNGM. Questionnaires were distributed to visitors to analyze the quality, infrastructure, and existing tour packages, while interviews were conducted with managers to gather in-depth information. The results showed that TNGM OWAs have high potential to be developed as ecotourism destinations. Visitors gave positive ratings to the natural beauty, safety, and comfort in the OWAs. However, some aspects need to be improved, such as waste management, promotion, and the availability of supporting facilities. This research also produced two ecotourism packages, namely "One Day Trip" and "One Night Trip". The "One Day Trip" package includes visits to Tlogo Muncar Waterfall, Plunyon, and Kalikuning Park. Meanwhile, the "One Night Trip" package offers a camping experience at Kalikuning Park, exploring Plunyon and Tlogo Muncar, and enjoying the sunrise view from Mount Merapi. Both packages are expected to attract tourists and positively contribute to the local economy. |
