Abstract: Pertumbuhan industri bisnis di Indonesia mendorong pentingnya perancangan User Experience (UX) dan User Interface (UI). PT Emco Digital Indonesia, yang akan meluncurkan aplikasi Progi Absensi, membutuhkan media promosi untuk memberikan informasi kepada pengguna mengenai aplikasi Progi Absensi, tetapi belum menemukan solusi yang tepat. Selain itu, perusahaan ini juga membutuhkan rancangan prototype dari media promosi tersebut sehingga dapat segera diimplementasikan untuk mempromosikan aplikasi Progi Absensi. Metode Design thinking adalah pendekatan kreatif yang efektif untuk memahami pengguna, mengidentifikasi masalah, dan menghasilkan solusi inovatif dalam perancangan UX dan UI. Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan solusi dalam menentukan media promosi yang tepat berdasarkan perancangan UX dan menghasilkan rancangan media promosi untuk aplikasi Progi Absensi dengan pendekatan Design thinking. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada merancang media promosi untuk aplikasi Progi Absensi menggunakan metode Design thinking, dengan harapan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dan preferensi pengguna.
The growth of the business industry in Indonesia underscores the importance of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design. PT Emco Digital Indonesia, which is set to launch the Progi Absensi application, requires a promotional medium to inform users about the application but has not yet found a suitable solution. Additionally, the company needs a prototype design for this promotional medium so that it can be quickly implemented to promote the Progi Absensi application. The Design thinking method is a creative and effective approach for understanding users, identifying problems, and generating innovative solutions in UX and UI design. This study aims to find a solution for determining the appropriate promotional medium based on UX design and to produce a promotional media design for the Progi Absensi application using the Design thinking approach. This research focuses on designing promotional media for the Progi Absensi application using Design thinking, with the hope of meeting the needs and preferences of users.
