| dc.description.abstract | Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk memberikan analisis permasalahan jaringan dari alat kontrol irigasi Felova generasi kedua dan memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan tersebut. Permasalahan jaringan yang dihadapi oleh alat kontrol irigasi Felova generasi kedua adalah permasalahan transmisi data yang sifatnya satu arah (mikrokontroler yang harus menginisiasi permintaan perubahan data dari server) dan pemakaian kuota internet yang tidak efektif (kuota internet selalu habis sebelum masa hangus pemakaian). Penyebab permasalahan-permasalahan tersebut adalah akibat dari pemakaian HTTP sebagai protokol komunikasi antara sistem alat kontrol irigasi dengan server. Penyelesaian masalah dilakukan dengan merancang dan mengimplementasikan protokol MQTT. Hasil dari implementasi protokol MQTT kemudian dibandingkan dengan protokol HTTP. Perbandingan kedua protokol tersebut menghasilkan perbedaan signifikan dari sisi jumlah traffic internet secara keseluruhan, jumlah paket data yang dikirim dan diterima, dan besaran paket data. | - |
| dc.description.sponsorship | This final project aims to provide an network problems analysis of the second generation Felova irrigation control system and provide solutions to these problems. The network problems faced by the second generation Felova irrigation control system are one-way data transmission problems (the microcontroller must initiate data change requests from the server) and ineffective internet quota usage (the internet quota always runs out before the usage period expires). The cause of these problems is the result of using HTTP as a communication protocol between the irrigation control system and the server. Problem solving is done by designing and implementing the MQTT protocol. The results of implementing the MQTT protocol are then compared with the HTTP protocol. Comparison of the two protocols produces significant differences in terms of the overall amount of internet traffic, the number of data packets sent and received, and the size of the data packets. | - |
