Abstract: Desa Wisata adalah sebuah area atau daerah pedesaan yang memiliki daya tarik khusus yang dapat menjadi daerah tujuan wisata. Desa wisata memiliki penduduk masih memegang tradisi dan budaya yang masih asli. Desa-desa seringkali merupakan tempat tinggal bagi budaya asli dan tradisi yang telah diwariskan dari generasi ke generasi. Namun, dalam era globalisasi, eksistensi budaya sering kali terancam oleh modernisasi dan homogenisasi budaya. Budaya asli mencakup tradisi, bahasa, adat istiadat, kesenian, dan cara hidup yang unik dan berharga. Pengembangan ekowisata dapat memberikan sumber pendapatan tambahan bagi masyarakat desa, sehingga mengurangi tekanan untuk meninggalkan tradisi dan budaya asli dalam mencari penghidupan. Penelitian tentang pengembangan ekowisata desa terhadap eksistensi budaya memiliki tujuan menganalisis eksistensi budaya di Kecamatan Glagah Kabupaten Banyuwangi, bagaimana tingkat kesiapan masyarakat terhadap pengembangan ekowisata di Kecamatan Glagah, Kabupaten Banyuwangi, bagaimana tingkat minat dan pengetahuan wisatawan terhadap budaya di Kecamatan Glagah, Kabupaten Banyuwangi dan bagaimana menyusun output video promosi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari-Februari 2024 di Desa Kecamatan Glagah Kabupaten Banyuwangi Provinsi Jawa Timur. Responden dalam penelitian ini memiliki tiga kelompok stakeholder yaitu budayawan, masyarakat dan wisatawan di desa Kecamatan Glagah. Teknik snow ball sampling digunakan untuk pengambilan data budaya material immaterial dan tingkat kesiapan masarakat dalam pengembangan desa wisata oleh budayawan dan masyarakat. Teknik pengambilan data tingkat minat dan pengetahuan wisatawan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hal tersebut berkaitan dengan pengembangan ekowisata desa yang di rancang pada sebuah video promosi agar dapat memperkenalkan potensi budaya asli di Kecamatan Glagah Kabupaten Banyuwangi secara luas. Luaran yang dihasilkan yaitu media promosi berupa video promosi dengan tema ”Ragam Budaya.” Pengetahuan eksistensi budaya di Kecamatan Glagah Kabupaten Banyuwangi meliputi budaya material dan immaterial menggunakan kategori mengetahui, mengenal, dipakai dengan mencari penilaian tertinggi. Tingkat kesiapan masyarakat dalam pengembangan ekowisata desa didominasi sudah memiliki persiapan dan partisipasi yang baik. Tingkat minat wisatawan untuk mengunjungi desa di Kecamatan Glagah untuk mempelajari budaya serta pengetahuan wisatawan mengenai atraksi wisata dan membuat perancangan video promosi.
A tourist village is an area or rural area that has a special attraction that can become a tourist destination. In tourist villages, residents still adhere to original traditions and culture. Villages are often home to indigenous culture and traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation. However, in the era of globalization, cultural existence is often threatened by modernization and cultural homogenization. Indigenous culture includes unique and valuable traditions, languages, customs, arts, and ways of life. The development of ecotourism can provide an additional source of income for village communities, thereby reducing the pressure to abandon native traditions and culture in search of a livelihood. Research on the development of village ecotourism towards the existence of culture has the aims of (1) analyzing the existence of culture in Glagah District, Banyuwangi Regency (2) What is the level of community readiness for developing ecotourism in Glagah District, Banyuwangi Regency (3) What is the level of interest and knowledge of tourists towards culture in the District Glagah, Banyuwangi Regency (5) How to prepare promotional video output. This research was carried out in January-February 2024 in Glagah District Village, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java Province. Respondents in this study have three stakeholder groups, namely cultural figures, the community and tourists in the village of Glagah District. The snow ball sampling technique was used to collect data on immaterial material culture and the level of community readiness in developing tourist villages by cultural figures and the community. The technique for collecting data on the level of interest and knowledge of tourists uses purposive sampling techniques. This is related to the development of village ecotourism which was designed in a promotional video in order to widely introduce the potential of indigenous culture in Glagah District, Banyuwangi Regency. The output produced is promotional media in the form of a promotional video with the theme "Cultural Diversity." Knowledge of cultural existence in Glagah District, Banyuwangi Regency includes material and immaterial culture using the categories knowing, knowing, used by seeking the highest assessment. The level of community readiness in developing village ecotourism is dominated by good preparation and participation. The level of tourist interest in visiting villages in Glagah District to learn Osing culture and tourist knowledge about tourist attractions.
