Abstract: | Penggunaan tumbuhan obat masih sering dijumpai pada komunitas masyarakat sekitar hutan. Desa Gunungsari memiliki hutan yang dikelola oleh Perum Perhutani dimana masyarakat ikut terlibat dalam praktiknya. Aktivitas masyarakat di hutan mengindikasikan adanya pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat, namun belum diketahui bagaimana bentuk pemanfaatannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keanekaragaman tumbuhan yang ada di hutan desa lalu mengidentifikasi tumbuhan obat dan potensi pengembangannya. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari November 2022 - Januari 2023 di Desa Gunungsari. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan studi literatur, wawancara, serta analisis vegetasi digunakan untuk mencari data pemanfaatan oleh masyarakat, keanekaragaman vegetasi, serta potensi tumbuhan obat. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat 66 cara pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat oleh masyarakat, ditemukan 53 spesies dari 43 famili tumbuhan di hutan dengan 42 spesies diketahui memiliki khasiat obat, serta 10 diantaranya memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan.

Gunungsari Village hosted a forest managed by Perum Perhutani, which involves community participation. The specific methods of how the people utilizing medicinal plants remain unclear. This research aims to analyze the botanical diversity within village forests and identify their medicinal potential. Carried out from November 2022 to January 2023 in Gunungsari Village, the research collected data through literature reviews, interviews, and vegetation analysis. This research revealed that the community employed 66 different methods of utilizing medicinal plants. There were 53 species from 43 different plant families identified, of which 42 were recognized for their medicinal properties.
