dc.description.abstractKacang koro pedang merupakan salah satu tanaman lokal yang kurang dimanfaatkan namun memiliki kandungan nutrien yang tinggi berupa protein dan karbohidrat yang berpotensi sebagai bahan baku pakan ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pemanfaatan tepung kacang koro pedang mentah sebagai bahan baku pakan terhadap pertumbuhan ikan nila (Oreochromis sp.). Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan yaitu TK0 (jumlah tepung kacang koro pedang 0%), TK5 (jumlah tepung kacang koro pedang 5%), TK15 (jumlah tepung kacang koro pedang 15%), dan TK25 (jumlah tepung kacang koro pedang 25%) yang ditambahkan pada formulasi pakan dengan tiga kali ulangan. Ikan nila dipelihara dalam akuarium ukuran 50×50×40 selama 60 hari sebanyak 15 ekor dan diberi pakan dengan frekuensi 3 kali sehari secara at satiation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kinerja pertumbuhan ikan nila yang diberi pakan mengandung bahan tepung kacang koro pedang menunjukkan hasil berbeda nyata (P<0,05) karena tidak memberikan performa pertumbuhan yang baik seperti total biomassa akhir, bobot rata-rata akhir, laju pertumbuhan harian, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, tingkat kelansungan hidup, rasio konversi pakan, retensi protein, retensi lemak, dan morfometri usus menunjukkan adanya kelainan.
dc.description.abstractJack bean is one of the underutilized local plants but has a high nutrient content in the form of protein and carbohydrates that have the potential as raw materials for fish feed. This study aims to evaluate the utilization of raw jack bean flour as a feed raw material on the growth of tilapia (Oreochromis sp.). The study used a completely randomized design with 4 treatments, TK0 (0% amount of jack bean flour), TK5 (5% amount of jack bean flour), TK15 (15% amount of jack bean flour), and TK25 (25% amount of jack bean flour) added to the feed formulation with three replications. Tilapia were kept in a 50×50×40 aquarium for 60 days as many as 15 fish and fed with a frequency of 3 times a day at satiation. The results showed that the growth performance of tilapia fed with feed containing koro sword nut flour showed significantly different results (P<0.05) because it did not provide good growth performance such as final total biomass, final average weight, daily growth rate, specific growth rate, survival rate, feed conversion ratio, protein retention, fat retention, and intestinal morphometry showed abnormalities.
