Abstract: PT XYZ merupakan perusahaan otomotif yang memproduksi sepeda motor di Indonesia dengan permintaan setiap bulannya berfluktuasi. Permintaan yang fluktuatif tersebut menyebabkan pembelian komponen penyusun sepeda motor terkadang mengalami kelebihan, salah satunya komponen cover right body. Evaluasi sistem pemesanan menggunakan EOQ Probabilistik yang dapat menyelesaikan masalah persediaan dengan permintaan yang tidak pasti atau probabilistik untuk mengetahui jumlah pemesanan optimal, safety stock, reorder point, dan frekuensi pemesanan sehingga dapat meminimalkan Total Inventory Cost (TIC). Hasil perhitungan EOQ Probabilistik adalah safety stock 61 unit, reorder point di unit 90, jumlah pemesanan optimal 3.504 unit, dan frekuensi pemesanan untuk bulan Desember 2023-November 2024 adalah 3 kali setiap bulannya. Penghematan total cost inventory antara metode existing perusahaan dengan metode EOQ probabilistik sebesar Rp 1.946.519,46 atau 35%.
PT XYZ is an automotive company that produces motorcycles in Indonesia with demand fluctuating every month. The fluctuating demand causes the purchase of motorcycle components to sometimes experience excess, one of which is the right body cover component. Evaluation of the ordering system using Probabilistic EOQ which can solve inventory problems with uncertain or probabilistic demand to find out the optimal number of orders, safety stock, reorder points, and order frequency so as to minimize the Total Inventory Cost (TIC). The results of the Probabilistic EOQ calculation are safety stock of 61 units, reorder points in units 90, optimal order number of 3,504 units, and the frequency of orders for December 2023-November 2024 is 3 times every month. The total cost inventory savings between the company's existing method and the probabilistic EOQ method amounted to IDR 1.946.519,46 or 35%.
