Abstract: M. IKHSAN. Perbaikan Availability Mesin Fluidized Carbonizer di Pabrik Briket PT Bukit Asam Tbk. Dibimbing oleh PRAMONO D FEWIDARTO. Selama melakukan aktivitas produksi, Pabrik Briket PT Bukit Asam sering mengalami masalah yang mengakibatkan penurunan waktu produksi efektifnya. Tingginya downtime tidak terencana pada mesin fluidized carbonizer sebagai mesin critical menjadi penyebab utama. Mesin fluidized carbonizer beeran sebagai sumber produksi coalite untuk briket karbonisasi dan sumber bahan penyuplai panas untuk pengeringan briket. Proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi nilai downtime tidak terencana dan meningkatkan efisiensi produksi pada pabrik melalui perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dan analisis lebih lanjut menggunakan metode Fishbone Diagram, sehingga menghasilkan rekomendasi perbaikan yang solutif. Hasil perhitungan rata – rata OEE pada mesin fluidized carbonizer menunjukkan nilai yang sangat rendah terutama bulan Oktober dan November 2023 masih dibawah standar JIPM, yaitu 35% (bulan Oktober) dan 20% (bulan November). Kesimpulan proyek akhir ini menunjukkan pentingnya penerapan TPM melalui pelatihan breakdown maintenance yang efektif untuk meningkatkan availability pada mesin fluidized carbonizer.

During production activities, the PT Bukit Asam Briquette Factory often experiences problems which result in a decrease in effective production time. The high level of unplanned downtime on the fluidized carbonizer machine as a critical machine is the main cause. The fluidized carbonizer machine acts as a source of coalite production for carbonization briquettes and a source of heat supply material for drying briquettes. This final project aims to reduce the value of unplanned downtime and increase production efficiency at the factory through calculating Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and further analysis using the Fishbone Diagram methods, thereby producing recommendations for solution improvements. The results of the average OEE calculation on the fluidized carbonizer machine show very low values, especially in October and November 2023, which are still below the JIPM standard, namely 35% (October) and 20% (November). The conclusion of this final project shows the importance of implementing TPM through effective breakdown maintenance training to increase availability on fluidized carbonizer machines.
