Abstract: RIZQI MABUL SURURI. Identifikasi Defect Pin Menutup Pada Produk Timer H3CR menggunakan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Sedangkan metode yang digunakan untuk merencanakan alernatif solusi yaitu pendekatan kaizen 5W+1H yang mempertimbangkan aspek what, when, where, why, who, dan how. RIZQI MABUL SURURI. Identification of Pin Closing Defects in H3CR Timer Products using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Supervised by AGUNG PRAYUDHA HIDAYAT Identifying the pin-closing defect problem in the IAB line one H3CR department is motivated by the many discoveries of closing pin defects in January - October 2023. This defect causes considerable losses, namely the number of product parts disposed of in the amount of 3591 parts. Disposed parts include base assembly, PWB, and lead wire. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study is to identify the causes of the appearance of pin-closing defects and formulate alternative solutions to minimize the appearance of defects. The three methods are used to identify the causes of the appearance of the most potential defects, which will then be prioritized in taking and determining actions and maintenance recommendations. The method used to plan alternative solutions is the 5W+1H kaizen approach, which considers aspects of what, when, where, why, who, and how. Keywords: Defect identification, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Seven tools
