Abstract: NUR RACHMY FAZRYAH. Pengaruh Umur Panen yang Berbeda terhadap Produktivitas Green fodder Jagung dan Sorgum (The Effect of Different Harvest Ages on the Productivity of Corn and Sorghum Green fodder).
The Effect of Different Harvest Ages on the Productivity of Corn and Sorghum Green Fodder. Supervised by ANNISA HAKIM and FITRIANI EKA PUJI LESTARI. The forage produced is expected to meet continuity of availability. One solution presented to this problem is hydroponic green fodder. The aim of this research is to examine the effect of different harvest ages on corn and sorghum green fodder. This research used a 2 x 2 factorial design with treatment factors in the form of seeds consisting of two levels (corn seeds and sorghum seeds), and differences in harvest age consisting of two levels (6th day and 12th day). The research results showed that there was a significant effect (P<0.05) on the productivity of corn and sorghum which was influenced by differences in harvest age. The results show that the 12th harvest age produces the highest plant biomass of 7.51 kg/m2, while the 6th harvest age produces the highest plant biomass of 4.73 kg/m2. Corn plants obtain higher biomass and conversion compared to sorghum plants, but there are differences in response to growth variables. Plant height growth in corn is superior, while sorghum plants are superior in the number of leaves.
