Abstract: PT XYZ mengalami permasalahan penumpukan kain rayon di gudang grey sehingga perlu adanya perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan pada kain rayon karena memiliki permintaan paling tingggi sebesar 80% dari kain grey woven. Perencanaan persediaan merupakan rencana untuk melakukan pengadaan bahan baku dengan melakukan peramalan permintaan. Sementara itu, pengendalian persediaan melibatkan pada pengaturan dan penyesuaian persediaan untuk membantu menghindari kelebihan atau kekurangan stok yang dapat menyebabkan biaya tambahan atau ketidakpuasan pelanggan. Strategi perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan dilakukan dengan beberapa metode yang akan digunakan yaitu metode peramalan time series dengan moving average dan exponential smoothing dengan melakukan verifikasi peramalan dengan Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Square Error (MSE), dan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). Kemudian analisis ABC untuk menentukan bahan baku kelas A dan menghintung safety stock dan reorder point dengan metode probabilistik serta besaran biaya penyimpanan.
PT XYZ experienced a problem with the accumulation of rayon fabric in the grey warehouse, so there is a need for a planning and inventory control for rayon fabric because it has the highest demand at 80%. Inventory planning is a plan for procuring raw materials by forecasting demand. Meanwhile, inventory control involves managing and adjusting inventory to help avoid excess or shortage of stock that could cause additional costs or customer dissatisfaction. Inventory planning and control strategies are carried out using several methods that will be used, namely the time series forecasting method with moving averages and exponential smoothing by verifying forecasts with Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Square Error (MSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) . Then ABC analysis to determine class A raw materials and calculate safety stock and reorder points using a probabilistic method as well as the amount of storage costs.
