Dependency on imported feed raw materials and food loss and waste behavior (FLW) need to be addressed extensively and relevantly. Efforts to address these challenges include the use of bioconversion of organic garbage using BSF maggot and the processing of maggot BSF into maggot flour as feed raw material. The study aims to examine the performance of AKA and KUB chickens during the brooding period given feed containing 7.5% BSF maggot flour. The experimental design in this study uses a completely randomized design (CRD). Maintenance or research was conducted for 4 weeks with observations on 3,000 AKA (P1) and 3,000 KUB (P2) chickens, each divided into two repetitive groups. The observed variables include DOC quality, feed quality, and local poultry performance of brooding period traders. The results of the study showed AKA performance better when compared to KUB performance during the observation of the brooding period. Feeding that contains maggot flour has the potential to be developed on local merchant chickens with a maggot meal standard and a feeding form that is tailored to the needs of the local chicken merchant used.-
