Abstract: Penelitian ini merancang sistem pengelolaan limbah bahan berbahaya dan beracun (B3) untuk kegiatan pemeliharaan kendaraan di PT XYZ. Limbah B3 yang dihasilkan meliputi oli bekas, kain majun terkontaminasi, limbah elektronik dan aki bekas. Metode penelitian meliputi studi literatur, observasi lapangan, dan wawancara. Langkah pertama dalam melakukan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi jenis dan volume limbah B3, yang kemudian melakukan perancangan tempat penyimpanan sementara (TPS) yang sesuai dengan regulasi, penyusunan standar operasional prosedur (SOP) pengelolaan limbah B3, dan analisis potensi bahaya dan risiko dari pengelolaan limbah B3. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya beberapa kekurangan dalam pengelolaan limbah B3 di PT XYZ. Dengan adanya desain TPS dan SOP Pengelolaan Limbah B3 & Tanggap Darurat, diharapkan PT XYZ dapat memenuhi regulasi yang berlaku. Implementasi pada kegiatan pengelolaan limbah B3 PT XYZ memerlukan pelatihan dan evaluasi berkala.
This research designs a hazardous and toxic waste (B3) management system for vehicle maintenance activities at PT XYZ. The B3 waste produced includes used oil, contaminated rags, electronic waste, and used batteries. The research methods include literature studies, field observations, and interviews. The first step in conducting this research is identifying the types and volumes of B3 waste, followed by designing a temporary storage facility (TPS) that complies with regulations, preparing standard operating procedures (SOP) for B3 waste management, and analyzing potential hazards and risks associated with B3 waste management. The results of the research indicate several deficiencies in B3 waste management at PT XYZ. With the design of the TPS and the SOP for B3 waste management and emergency response, it is expected that PT XYZ will be able to comply with applicable regulations. Implementation of B3 waste management activities at PT XYZ requires training and periodic evaluations.
