The increase in production capacity in the automotive industry has led to a corresponding rise in the volume of hazardous and toxic waste. Automotive companies generate various types of hazardous and toxic waste from production and operational activities, with a total waste generation reaching 294.62 tons per month. Based on observations, the current temporary storage facility for B3 waste in the automotive company cannot accommodate the generated B3 waste due to the substantial volume. The methodology of this study begins with identifying the condition of the B3 waste TPS and the types of B3 waste that have the potential for reduction and utilization, followed by designing the B3 waste storage facility and layout using AutoCAD and Sketchup software, and the preparation of standard operating procedures (SOP) for B3 waste storage activities. The results of the study show that several types of B3 waste, such as used oil, fluorescent lamps, and solvents, can be reduced and utilized through material substitution, process modification, the use of environmentally friendly products, and recycling. The B3 waste storage facility is designed with considerations of capacity, location, and facilities, including containment tanks, ventilation, lighting, roof construction, fire extinguishers, and forklift transport routes. The implementation of B3 waste management activities requires supervision and permits from relevant authorities.
