Abstract: Pengelolaan limbah B3 oleh sebuah perusahaan farmasi yang memproduksi alat kesehatan masih memerlukan perbaikan.
The management of hazardous waste (B3) by a pharmaceutical company that produces medical devices still requires improvement. Based on the issues of B3 waste management in the pharmaceutical industry, a study was conducted to assess the company's B3 waste management conditions, formulate improvement recommendations, and develop appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and literature studies. The data were analyzed using the Guttman scale method by comparing actual conditions with prevailing conditions. The evaluation using the Guttman scale showed a compliance level of 77%, which falls into the good category. Recommended improvement steps include replacing cardboard packaging with jumbo bags, using waste symbols according to characteristics, and classifying waste according to its characteristics. The B3 waste management steps also include developing SOPs based on regulations and field conditions in accordance with PP 22/2021, Permen LHK 6/2021, and Permen LH 14/2013.
