| dc.description.abstract | Populasi sapi di Indonesia belum memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi manusia, penelitian ini penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas ternak melalui inovasi teknologi. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi perbedaan efektivitas dua metode superovulasi pada sapi Simmental dan Peranakan Ongole di Balai Embrio Ternak (BET) Cipelang, Indonesia. Metode penelitian melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka, dengan prosedur yang mencakup pengadaan sapi donor, superovulasi, inseminasi buatan, hingga evaluasi embrio. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode superovulasi pada hari ke-4 lebih efektif untuk sapi Simmental, sementara metode hari ke-9 lebih efektif untuk sapi Peranakan Ongole. Perbedaan ini signifikan secara statistik, dipengaruhi oleh faktor genetik, kondisi fisiologis, nutrisi, dan kesehatan reproduksi. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam upaya meningkatkan produksi embrio sapi yang berkualitas untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan Indonesia. | - |

This research is essential to enhance livestock quality through technological innovation. The study explores the difference in the effectiveness of two superovulation methods in Simmental and Peranakan Ongole cattle at the Balai Embrio Ternak (BET) Cipelang, Indonesia. The research methodology involves observation, interviews, literature review, and procedures including acquiring donor cattle, superovulation, artificial insemination, and embryo evaluation. The analysis results indicate that the superovulation method on day 4 is more effective for Simmental cattle, while day 9 is more effective for Peranakan Ongole cattle. This difference is statistically significant and influenced by genetic factors, physiological conditions, nutrition, and reproductive health. The study provides a significant contribution to improving the quality of cattle embryos to support Indonesia's food security efforts. | - |
